the jeep i hit was no ordinary owner jeep. its some big ass delivery jeep, pick up style. well thats how the owner explains what his vehicle actually is. this accident is so emotionally draining, its a nightmare that just wont end. of course there was that week of bad publicity, and then there was the feeling of complete loss and the fear of everything on four wheels, there was the rejection by our insurance company (but they reconsidered, thank God), and then the tulfo article on the inquirer saying that we were bad people for neglecting these soldiers (yes they were soldiers) after the accident. apparently, 4 of these soldiers (THAT WE HELPED after the accident) complained to the media saying we did nothing.
obviously, they want money.
then we have the driver. no he wasn't one of the 4. he owns the jeep, so..... i owe him. all he asked was that we replace the jeep. but we've been looking for one for the past 3weeks and we cant find any. its not the typical owner jeep. here are some photos.
ya it looks ok now. wait till you see the other side kaboom! this is a total wreck daw. twisted the chassis.;(the guy is asking me for 180k.but he's okay with me being the one to look for a jeep as long as it is the same size. if any of you know where i can get a jeep like this, ask your drivers, employees ANYONE plss let me know asap. many of them will say to look in cavite. we tried!!! theres none like this. i need to find one before he sues me. a prayer will help too. sigh
 | hi paolo. junie here, one of your online buddies.
well, i'm from meycauayan, bulacan, very near bocaue. and they've got made-to-order jeeps there. they even make fx and suv immitations there. you might find one there. if you have the time, you could drive by bocaue but use the mcarthur hiway. if you know the JIL school in bocaue, it's befor you get to JIL. it's just at the bungad of bocaue, right after marilao. look at the left side along mcarthur hiway. i'm pretty sure you can find one there. |
 | What an ugly owner type jeep. Seriously hang in there my friend I'm sure you'll get back on track. Best regards. ^_^ |
 | i think u can find it sa mga provinces... they use this car often e. why wont u try looking in laguna? bulacan? cavite? batangas? maybe they sell these things... poor u, have to publicized in a very wrong way.... |
 | i'll pray for you.. don't worry everything is going to be ok.. i'll do everything i can. |
 | hi paolo. I will pray for you. This jeep looks like one of those modified owner type jeeps, you prolly wont find something that looks exactly the same but you can try their suggestion -- try laguna, bulacan and other local provinces.
|
 | =(( we'll find one love.... |
 | i'll tell gusty.. and i'll pray :-( |
 | bro. you can have that made to order.
we'll keep you in mah prayers too. |
 | did you get the names of the soldiers? |
 | jograd, that's a custom made jeepney. so my suggestion is, go to bocaue. :) you'll find one that's the same size as that jeep. :) and yeah.. we'll pray. love ya bro. |
 | will keep you in our prayers man . . . |
 | yeah. Bulacan is a good place to look. Tulfo is an Ass. |
 | >:D< hang in there, kuya pao praying for you |
 | I pray that you will find the replacement for the jeep asap.. |
 | pao, baka hindi ka makakita nang ganito talaga, these jeeps are assembled, custom made...lahat nang parts nang ganito yung owner ang namimili, kaya nga owner type ang tawag... biharang bihira ka makakakita nang same owner type jeeps, custom talaga by the owner...i suggest ask the owner of the jeep the specifics of what he wants (meaning every detail of what he wants talaga) tapos kayo mag pa-assemble, or kung mahirap talaga, i suggest give him cash na lang....mag canvas kayo then tingnan nyo which is cheaper between the 2 options he gave you... sana maka tulong, hehehe..ingat! |

 | oh my god!!! i dont even think they make these anymore pao!! sorry to hear about your bad publicity! |
 | just wondering paolo, how does he determined that it costs 180k right away, wow I think since he knows who you are, that you are a celebrity, he is asking for too much. Gusto lang mag kapera kaagad.. |
 | pukpk lang yan puneta. its friggin tin for crying out loud! |
 | Ugh. Ang kukupal ng mga nabangga mo. Napaka iresponsable ring magsulat ni Tulfo. Tumulong kaya kayo! Bad journalist!
I can't believe they want that much money. Hello. Sa 180K segunda mano na kayang kotse ang mabibili mo, i mean the older ones of course pero kahit na no! |
 | Pao - having a vehicle made to your specs will really cost a lot. try that suggestion about bulacan near JIL and get an estimate. It might come out to almost the same amount as 180K. |

 | Paolo, this is just an advice from a friend. Don't take this the wrong way ok. The 180k that the driver is asking for is NOTHING compared to the hassle that almost cost him his life. The 3 weeks that you've spent delaying looking for a replacement for the jeep is costing this poor driver and his family their livelihood. It doesn't matter how ugly you may think their jeep is, it's their livelihood that you've disrupted, plus the pain and suffering that these people have endured from the accident. I understand that you were traumatized too, but their trauma is probably threefolds of what you're feeling considering they almost died in the accident. Do you really think that if they died 180K is enough to pay for their lives, plus the guilt that you would have had to put up with? Think of the 180K, not as a payment for a replacement jeep, but more of a settlement fine for lives almost lost. If I were you, don't waste time looking for the jeep, just pay them the 180K and be happy that you're all still alive. God Bless. |
 | Actually you could also look for something that'll serve the same purpose that the owner jeep was used for. Like consider how many people it can carry, kung gas o diesel ba... (buti nga hindi aircon eh.hehe) Maybe you can actually find something that even looks better and has the same working quality at the same price or even less. I'm sure they'll appreciate that. What you're fighting against is time. Time that the guy should be using to earn money with his vehicle-like what your friend said earlier. |

I'm sorry if my entry offended anybody. It wasn't meant that way. And you're right, I don't know what Paolo's family is going thru. Accidents happen. It's traumatizing physically, emotionally, and financially. Both parties made their mistakes that caused the collision. However, technically IN LAW, when someone REAR-ENDs someone, it is the person from behind who is AT FAULT and it's he/she who should take the blame for the accident. It sucks but that's just how it is. Anyhow, you talk about paying for medical expenses, such as xrays - well, that's SOP (standard of operation) for someone who has been in an auto accident. When you hit someone, you don't just take care of the driver, you also have to take care of the passengers. Besides, paying for xrays is nothing compared to WORSE things that COULD have REALLY happened ( if you know what I mean). Anyway, we're going off topic. The topic here is not the passengers and their supposedly unwarranted claims, but the driver and his replacement jeep. True, the jeep is old and 180K is a lot of money, but it's minimal if you think of the expense as BLOOD money - money for a life ALMOST lost. You and I both know that a person's life is DEFINITELY worth more than 180K (whether you're rich or poor). And about lending the driver a temporary jeep to use for the meantime - it's a generous, but necessary gesture because otherwise, that guy and his family would have lost 3 weeks worth of livelihood since they don't have a jeep anymore. If the amount of money is the issue, then maybe Paolo and his family can compromise the amount with the guy, rather than spend more time looking for a look-a-like jeep? |
 | may ma salvage kaya from this? i mean, if i have a new one assembled, can i use the undamaged parts of this owner? coz 180k is freaking alot maaan!!! i asked kasi kung okay pera na lang... but thats how much he asked for.,,, :( dapat!...honestly, looking at the pictures hindi ko makita yung sinasabi nyang total wreck eh, hindi ko alam bat kelangan pera or new one...first question dapat is kung kamusta na yung owner nya before the accident happend, baka naman laspag na yan before pa, so talo ka naman if he asks for a new one. And again, kaya nga owner ang tawag dyan kasi custom nang owner eh, so lahat nang parts nyan meron dapat replacement... aralin nyo lang lahat talaga muna yung options nyo, i agree that 180K is alot, sobra talaga hinihingi nya.... |
 | hi paolo!I'm Monina...one of your online buddies.Remember to just pray, all this will come to an end.i wish i can help!!!god bless you Paolo!take care! |
 | Hey pao! I'll try and help and ask my drivers! your friend had a suggestion of looking for a car/jeep/whatever that can serve the same purpose...go to a place where they sell second hand cars. Malamang its a diesel. No aircon. You could get a second hand school bus-service car (know what i mean? i dont really know how to describe the damn thing.) I'll pray for you! i hope that you and your family are ok! |
 | Dude parang may nakikita kong ganto around marikina lang. I'll let you know if i find one. Good to know you're okay. And yes, Tulfo's an ass. |

i wasnt talking to you. i was talking to the lady who apparently deleted her comment.. secondly.. you dont need to capitalize your points. i can read and analyze what your trying to say thirdly.. IN LAW we know we have parents lawyers and all that talking to us about the situation and know what has to be done we know paolo's "AT FAULT" ya.. everyone has to be taken care of.. they asked none said they needed any.. even the one complaining now oh ya... even just for the SOP(STANDARD OF OPERATION).. thanks.. now i know=)=)
you really think paolos family is that numb to understand what might have been lost? what could've happened to the men in the accident and their families? you think YOU only thought about that?
come on.
so.. were looking for a jeep.. can you help? if not.. thanks anyway...
|
 | ANYWAY your all entitled to your own opinion he he sorry and good day! |
 | whoa...this happened to our family before too..we hit two people and asked them if they wanted to go to the hospital or needed anything else..they said NO..then after a few days..they went to our house and complain and wanted money from us..ughhh..gosh..people these days..but anyway...ill pray for you..hopefully you'll find that jeep. |
 | btw, i think i know someone who can make that kind of jeep...the thing is...it's from cebu...so that's prolly gna be hard..hehe.. |
 | who erased their comments? im so intrigued hehe :D |
 | I DID!=)) you said you'll think about it so... what na?=) heehee |

 | so many deleted comments! hmmm haha! |
 | so. i feel really bad for just posting the most random question on your wall when you're like going through this tough phase but you know what as you said before God is there to help you and guide you through all your life events (may they be good or bad)... I always to remind myself of this bible verse from Micah although I cant quite remember what chapter and verses were they but it simply says that the TIME IS COMING WHEN HE WILL LEAD YOU OUT OF THIS DESTRUCTIVE PHASE (again its paraphrased)... it simply means that he will hang on to you until you and your family is back on your feet...in the meantime keep in mind of the good things in life and just try and pray (as we will all be doing for you) to give you strength during this really hard time. and as for the jeep... laguna is not part of cavite and I was from Cavite and all I can tell you is that there are some huge companies and maybe you are right ...they might not have it... so you're best solution would be to custom make it... and look for someone who won't hustle you...okay?. GOD BLESS and take care:) |
