im just kidding. but yeah we now own a studio called STUDIO V. i put my dad's name in the title of this blog coz i noticed that my last entry got 35 replies in the first 2 hours. considering the fact that i had way cooler posts before that one, the name GARY V seems to attract more users. argh. plus, it really is his studio. maybe next time i should put his name in every title of everything i post in the future.
ex: "pao and sam's anniversary. gary v."
or "my first day at work. im gary v's son"
or somethinglike. (love you dad!) this really is a sick way to promote but hey business is business.
to some of you performers, you may have heard of this place (it was called J&G rehearsal studio). now its called STUDIO V. yay.
the whole place right now is being renovated. of course , to better our services to everyone. my mom asked me to help manage the place so i make decisions based on what i think an artist or performer would like to feel when inside our facility.
there are 2 dance studios, 2 band rooms, and 1 workshop room.
(of course, everything is being worked on)
rates: the dance studios go for around p700 an hour. the band room goes for p600/hour. WAIT!! before you start complaining about it being too expensive, let me explain. this is fully set up for an entire show band . plus your whole session is recorded onto cd. but yeah i know what you're thinking. still too expensive! which is why, we made a second band room.
its p150 from 10am to 2pm, p250 from 2pm to 12mn. p300 after 12. PWEDE NA YUN!!!
future plans: there is a workshop room which is i think is pretty useless. the plan is to turn into a MUSIC LOUNGE. basically, its like a rehearsal studio BUT, it isnt. it'll still have the basics, pa system, guitar and bass amps, a small drumset(trying to get Vdrums) and keyboard, but the whole set up will be more relaxed. couches, bean bags, lava lamps AND HOPEFULLY (hopefully) an imac so that you can record and mix your own rough demos using pro tools and plasma tvs (showing ambient images to help stimulate the mind). The lounge will be for song writing purposes. this will go for p350 an hour. or p3500 for 12 hours.
of course, our website will have detailed information. the site will be ready maybe first week of feb. to all dancers, my brother gab is gonna have a dance workshop. 350 an hour. and there are 3 levels of course. easy medium and hard. i dunno what you call them hehe. here are some of the before photos. vip room for friends. while waiting for LATE band members, or you just wanna relax. we're having the carpets cleaned and changing some of the furniture and getting a new tv. and HOPEFULLY (its good to be hopeful) my bro lends me his xbox 360. hahaha
heres band room A. my dad and his band rehearse here. and also some of my dad's kapamilyas. so rehearse with us if you wanna see the stars. HAHA
here is the room for band room B for us cheaper people. this room is being worked on right now. will open in 2weeks. dont worry about the size. we extended the room to the left. its actually TWICE the size of what you're seeing now.
oh and yes......we have a pool. haha!
